Description
Studio portrait of 2128 Private (Pte) Charles Percy Chapman, 6th Reinforcements, 14th Battalion, of Dunolly, Vic (originally of Sawtry, England). Pte Chapman enlisted on 7 April 1915 and embarked from Melbourne aboard HMAT Wandilla on 17 June 1915. He was killed in action 21 August 1915 at Lone Pine, Gallipoli Peninsula, Turkey.
