Lawrence Drinkwater as a corporal, Rifle Section Commander, 6th Battalion, Royal Australian Regiment, South Vietnam 1966-1967, interviewed by Lieutenant Colonel Gary McKay MC (Rtd).
Description
Deployed to South Vietnam in 6RAR, 1966 as a rifle section commander at the Battle of Long Tan. Left the Regular Army in 1969 and served for many years after in the Army Reserve, reaching the rank of Sergeant.
