1914-15 Star. Impressed reverse with recipient's details.

History / Summary

Awarded to 2363 Sergeant John Charles Eglington. He enlisted from Adelaide on 17 March 1915 and embarked on HMAT Kanowna on 24 June 1915. He served with the 10 Battalion and was wounded in both legs during fighting at Lagnicourt on 15 April 1917. He returned to Australia on 20 December 1917 and was discharged in Adelaide on medical grounds on 14 August 1918.
