Description
Collection relating to 3377 Private Walter White, 28 Reinforcement, 7 Light Horse, 1917-1920. Collection consists of a typescript of a diary written by Private White covering his training in Australia, service in the Middle East and activities until his departure for return to Australia in 1920.
History / Summary
White writes regular entries about the activities his unit is involved in around Jordan and Palestine. His entries become more detailed after the war ended. He particularly describes the various places he visits including Gallipoli and Egypt.
