Officers of 78 Fighter Wing RAAF give eyes left to Sir William McKell on the saluting dais on the Town Hall steps during a march past through the streets of Sydney. The Wing departed that day for garrison duty in Malta. Identified personnel in the line closest to the camera are (left to right) Flight Lieutenant Tom Markowski (second from left); Flying Officer Geoffrey Thornton (second from right); Squadron Leader John 'Bay' Adams.
