The star act of the concert arranged by members of 78 Fighter Wing RAAF aboard the SS Asturias was a Roy 'Mo' Rene impersonator. Sergeant Jack Lovell of Adelaide, SA, put on Mo makeup, got the comedian's voice to a T and spluttered his way through 30 minutes of comedy. His straight man was Warrant Officer Bill Bell of Brighton, Vic. The Wing is travelling to Malta to carry out garrison duty.
