"Attack" Vivid! Real! Factual!
Description
Little is known about this Second World War film promotion poster. The poster aims to promote a film called "Attack". The poster is likely American in origin, as the poster features B-25 Mitchell, and P-38 Lockheed Lightning aircraft, as well as a M4 Sherman tank - all American vehicles. The poster depcits each of these vehicles, as well as a group of three GIs all on the attack, with guns blazing outwards. During the Second World War and later conflicts, film screenings have been a popular means to entertain soldiers during time spent away from the fighting front.
