Description
Papers of VX44696 Private Roy M Poy who served with the 2/29 Battalion in Singapore. Poy wrote a memoir describing active duty in South East Asia and his internment as a Japanese prisoner of war in Changi and on the Burma-Thailand Railway. Other items in the collection include copies of photographs, poetry written in Changi, service records and Poy's correspondence with his family, 1942-43.
