Soldiers and Tracking dogs of Fire Assault Platoon, Support Company, 7th Battalion The Royal Australian Regiment,(7RAR) move to embark on a Iroquois Helicopter from No 9 Squadron Royal Australian Air Force. Identified, left to right are: 19983 Private Thomas Douglas Blackhurst, carrying a 7.62mm L1A1 Self loading rifle with tracking Dog Justin; 43921 Lance Corporal Norman Leslie Cameron carrying a 5.56mm M16 Assault Rifle with tracking dog Cassius; and 16697 Private Robert Goodger carrying a 5.56mm M16 Assault Rifle and the team's ANPRC 25 Radio. Thomas Blackhurst was later killed in action on the 17 April 1971 while serving with the Australian Army Training Team Vietnam (AATTV).
