Group portrait of the unidentified soldiers who won a prize in a snow modelling competition at Hurdcott Convalescent Camp on the Salisbury Plain. Some of the men are holding snowballs. In front of them is their creation, a female kangaroo with a joey peeping out from the pouch. (From the collection of 704 Driver Ernest Charles Barnes who served with the 1st Field Artillery Brigade, 21st Howitzer Brigade and 2nd Field Artillery Brigade.)
