Description
Studio portrait of three soldiers. One is known to be 1745 Private (Pte) Edmund Percival Lilburne, 2nd Reinforcements, 29th Battalion, of Ballan, Vic, aged 21. Pte Lilburne enlisted on 22 November 1915 and embarked from Melbourne aboard HMAT Demosthenes on 29 October 1915. He returned to Australia on 12 May 1919 as a member of the 15th Battalion.
