Description
The submarine AE2 escorting an Australian convoy through the Gulf of Aden, as seen from HMT Ulysses. This submarine, launched in mid 1913, was sunk in the Dardanelles by the Turks on 30 April 1915; all hands were picked up and imprisoned by the Turks for the rest of the First World War.
