Vietnam. 1967-07. Getting ready to go on his first water ski is Sapper John Kiley of Corrimal, NSW (left), a member of the 1st Field Squadron, Royal Australian Engineers (RAE) based at Nui Dat. Kiley is on rest leave at the once fashionable seaside resort at Vung Tau. Helping him to get balanced before take-off is Corporal Peter Jones of Michelton, Qld, who is a member of the staff at the Australian Rest and Convalescence Centre.
