Description
South Vietnam. 1968-11. Craftsman Miles Higgins of Boisdale, Vic, and Craftsman Greg Hayward of Canterbury, NSW, digging a new command post at the 106th Field Workshops. The 106th Field Workshops, a new unit of the Royal Australian Mechanical and Electrical Engineers (RAEME) Corps, was formerly known as the 1st Armoured Squadron Workshops. The change in name has not changed the task of the unit of maintaining the 52-ton Centurion tanks of the 1st Armoured Regiment.
