Australian and American batteries help protect Fire Support Base (FSB) Lion, the forward base of the 1st Australian Task Force (1ATF) Headquarters for Operation Capital, a reconnaissance in force in the north-east of Phuoc Tuy Province. Two members of the American A Battery, second 35th Field Regiment, show two members of the Australian Headquarters Battery, 12th Field Regiment, over an American self-propelled 155mm Howitzer.
