Phuoc Tuy Province, South Vietnam. 1969-01. Private John Genovere of Paradise, SA, of the 1st Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (1RAR), plays with a Vietnamese child during a break from working on building a water supply system in the village of Ap Suoi Nghe, about two miles from the 1st Australian Task Force Base.
