Phuoc Tuy Province, South Vietnam. 1969-01. 4719604 Lance Corporal Garry Von-Stanke of Prospect, SA, plays with a Vietnamese boy's pet monkey in the village of Phu My. He is a member of the 1st Field Squadron, Royal Australian Engineers. The village was the subject of a cordon and search by the 1st Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (1RAR), which searched the village for Viet Cong, caches and escessive supplies of rice, draft dodgers, agents and Viet Cong suppliers.
