Description
Nui Dat, South Vietnam. 1969-09. One of the 'boozers' signs at the 1st Australian Task Force (1ATF) Base, which reads, 'Delta 5RAR, Boozer, The Dynamic 'D'. In Exile', and has an image of the cartoon character - Andy Capp. Many of the signs are often instant memorials to the modern soldiers' ingenuity. The colourful names are often expressive of the character of the wet canteens.
