It was a proud day for Graham Griffiths of Mona Vale, NSW, last week when the Governor, Sir Roden Cutler, invested him with the Military Medal (MM) at Government House. Here he receives a kiss from his mother Mrs J. L. Griffiths, after the ceremony while his fiancee, Miss Dorothy Downes of Narrabeen, NSW, looks on. Graham won the MM while serving as a sergeant with the 7th Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (7RAR), in Vietnam. Graham retired from the Army on 27 March after six years service.
