Class of Australian cadets receiving instructions in aerial gunnery at Minchinhampton aerodrome. At left is Lieutenant F. M. Procter, Gunnery Officer, No. 5 Training Squadron, Australian Flying Corps (AFC). Note the cadets have a white flash on their hats or caps. No. 5 moved to No. 1 Station, AFC, 2 April 1918 and disbanded 1919. Major R S Brown was Commanding Officer from 28 April 1918 to May 1919.
