Description
Studio portrait possibly of 2005 Private (Pte) Percival Leonard Smith, 3rd Reinforcements, 22nd Battalion, of Wartook via Horsham, Vic. Pte Smith, aged eighteen years, enlisted on 23 June 1915 and embarked aboard HMAT Anchises in Melbourne on 26 August 1915. He was killed in action on 21 November 1915. See also DA09847A and DA09847B.
