Studio portrait of 2354 Private (Pte) George Henry Pierce, 5th Reinforcments, 22nd Battalion, of Auburn, Vic. Pte Pierce enlisted on 10 July 1915 and embarked from Melbourne aboard HMAT Osterley on 29 September 1915. He returned to Australia on 13 April 1919.
