Description
Studio portrait of 2370 Private (Pte) Owen Frederick Saville, 5th Reinforcements, 22nd Battalion, of Melbourne, Vic. Pte Saville previously served with the 64th Infantry Battalion, Citizens Military Forces. He enlisted with the AIF on 9 July 1915 and embarked from Melbourne aboard HMAT Osterley on 29 September 1915. Pte Saville returned to Australia on 12 May 1918.
