Studio portrait of 83 Private (Pte) Thomas Ranger, Headquarters Details, Pioneer Section, 29th Battalion, of Williamstown, Vic. Pte Ranger enlisted on 15 July 1915 and embarked from Melbourne aboard HMAT Ascanius on 10 November 1915. He returned to Australia on 4 May 1917.
