Description
Studio portrait of Second Lieutenant (2nd Lt) Ebenezer Ralph Pearson, 58th Battalion, of Toorak, Vic. 2nd Lt Pearson enlisted on 19 June 1915 and embarked from Melbourne aboard HMAT Makarini on 15 September 1915. On 24 February 1916 he was transferred to the 60th Battalion and was later transferred to the 15th Machine Gun Company. 2nd Lt Pearson was killed in action on 26 March 1917 at Villers-Bretonneux, France.
