Description
Studio portrait of 5594 Private (Pte) William Dalzelle McFarland, 11th Reinforcements, 2nd Field Artillery Brigade, of St Kilda, Vic. Pte McFarland enlisted on 9 July 1915 and embarked from Melbourne aboard HMAT Nestor on 11 October 1915. He was killed in action on 26 June 1916 at Fleurbaix, France.
