Description
Studio portrait of 3378 Private (Pte) Bernard Jasper, 11th Reinforcements, 7th Battalion, of Geelong, Vic. Pte Jasper enlisted on 21 July 1915 and embarked from Melbourne aboard HMAT Nestor on 11 October 1915. He was killed in action on 19 July 1916 at Fleurbaix, France. His cousin, 3564 Lance Corporal Frederick Jasper MM, also served with the AIF, serving with the 29th Battalion.
