Description
Studio portrait of 2619 Private (Pte) Richard Curnow, 6th Reinforcements, 21st Battalion, of Bendigo, Vic. Pte Curnow enlisted on 26 July 1915 and embarked from Melbourne aboard HMAT Moldavia on 5 October 1915. He was killed in action on 4 October 1917 in Flanders, Belgium, whilst serving with the 3rd Australia Light Railway Operating Company.
