Description
Studio portrait of 4848 Private (Pte) William John Marshall, 15th Reinforcements, 6th Battalion, of Elsternwick, Vic (left) 1892 Pte William James Moon, 3rd Reinforcements, 60th Battalion, of Elsternwick, Vic (centre) and another unidentified soldier. Pte Marshall enlisted on 6 January 1916 and embarked aboard HMAT Wiltshire on 7 March 1916. He returned to Australia on 8 March 1919. Pte Moon enlisted on 10 November 1915 and embarked aboard HMAT Port Lincoln on 4 May 1916. He returned to Australia on 4 May 1917.
