Description
Studio portrait probably of Acting Sergeant (A/Sgt) William Lowe, 16th Reinforcements, 6th Battalion, of Yarrawonga, Vic. A/Sgt Lowe enlisted on 17 August 1915 and embarked aboard HMAT Suffolk in Melbourne on 1 April 1916. He was awarded a Military Medal on 15 March 1918. He returned to Australia as a sergeant on 12 June 1919.
