Description
German prisoners, captured by the Australians in the opening phase of their renewed attack on Bullecourt, on 3 May 1917, returning near Vaulx on their way to the prisoners' cage. Close to this point was a dressing station for the reception of men wounded in the operations. A motor ambulance with a prominent red cross painted on its roof is passing by.
