Australian soldiers occupying an observation post, which was originally a German pillbox, on Anzac Ridge, near Ypres. During the operations of the Australian troops in this sector, commencing with the attack on 20 September, all these strongly built posts covering the area fell into our hands, and were an aid to further successes.
