Broodseinde Ridge, Belgium. 5 October 1917. The 24th Battalion in the front line trenches near Flinte Farm, on Broodseinde Ridge, in the Ypres Sector. These trenches were quickly dug when the position, won in the attack of the previous day, was consolidated. Identified, working back through trench: Sergeant A. Collins; next three men unidentified; Lance Corporal O. Anderson; Corporal T. Roddy; Private Munro MM; unidentified; Cpl Cotter MM and Bar; all other men are unidentified.
