Description

View of a strong point in the enemy's line near Pozieres, occupied by our artillery following the German retreat, and later used as a Field Ambulance Station. With the concrete fortress known as 'Gibraltar', it remains a monument of the epic battles fought there by the Australian troops in July and August 1916.
