The battlefield of Pozieres as seen from the cemetery. On the left is Church Road Junction and in the centre is the trench running to the orchard. An unidentified Australian soldier is walking along Church Road Junction (centre) and another soldier is standing in the back of a motor lorry (forground, far left). Note a white cross and a limber on either side of the road (centre, left). Note the decimated trees on the right. This is a digitally combined composite panorama made up of two separate images.
