Description
A track across the Westhoek Ridge near Zonnebeke in the Ypres sector. As the wreckage along either side of the track suggests, transport casualties were very heavy in this exposed position. This is a composite image comprising most of E01265 but with one explosion added to the background. The image has also been cropped and the horizon extended. Sergeant W. Joyce, Hurley's assistant, visible in E01265 has been removed however his silhouette is just visible on the right. See E01265B for another version of this image.
