Members of the 27th Battalion passing through the town when the 2nd Division, hurried south from Flanders, moved into the Dernancourt and Villers-Bretonneux sectors to assist and relieve the troops in line. They are led by Lieutenant V. A. W. Riggs. In the centre of the first row is 3223 Sergeant Albert James Moynagh.
