The clay pit near the orchard north of the road which served as shelter for many Pineapple mortars. It was captured by a party of the 27th Battalion in July 1918. Shown, two members of B Company: 5832 Lance Corporal J. H. Dowsett (left), and 354 Corporal R. Jury.
