Description

This hospice became an Advanced Dressing Station when the Australian Corps advanced on the morning of 8 August - being opened by 13th Field Ambulance. Later in the day it became a Main Dressing Station adminstrated by the same unit. About two days later it was taken over by 10th Field Ambulance (when photograph was taken) as a Main Dressing Station, some of whose personnel can be seen. After a short occupation by 10th, the hospice became a Gas Centre, being administered by the 15th Field Ambulance.
