A group of unidentified Australian journalists inspecting captured guns. They are taking a closer look at a German 21cm Howitzer gun fitted with mud plates (shoes), which are bolted to the rims for the distribution of weight on soft ground. Brigadier T Blamey is third from the left. Note the writing on the gun barrel.
