A Memorial erected near Pozieres, France to the members of the 9th Battalion who fell on 10 August 1918. The names on the memorial are: 2557A Sergeant (Sgt) Cedric Archer; 2376 Sgt David Wilson Gordon; 6970 Sgt George William Green; 3961 Private (Pte) James Wilson; 939 Pte George Robert Taylor; 5437 Pte Neil Nelson; 5328 Pte George William Clarence Armstrong; 1172 Pte John Roach; 7732 Pte William Alfred Mickan; 7111 Pte Norman Frederick Tidyman; 6237 Pte Hugh Caven; 4796 Pte Leslie Hutchinson Harvey; 7016 Pte Roland George Markham; 706A Pte James Clark; 3764 Pte Cyril Austin Kerr; 5355 Pte Vivian Cleveland; 3739A Amos Collin Johnson; 7258 Pte Thomas Christopher Guppy. All were later buried at Heath Cemetery, Harbonnieres, France.
