Warfusee-Abancourt, France. Troops of the 5th Australian Infantry Brigade with Australian artillery and a British Mark V* tank that was temporarilly attached to the unit waiting to advance during the second stage of the allied attacks near Warfusee-Abancourt. The name 'Odysseus' is painted on the left front of the tank. The tank (9839) served with 15th Battalion, and was commanded by 2Lt W J Eccles. The tank has no un-ditching rails.
