Description

The Prince of Wales leaving the 'Ste Ouvriere St Francois-Xavier' building and bidding goodbye to officers of the 3rd Australian Infantry Brigade after having presented medals to members of the brigade. Major-General (Maj-Gen) T W Glasgow (right) is talking with the Prince and Maj-Gen Sir J J Talbot Hobbs (Australian Corps Commander) is standing behind HRH. Two cars are waiting in front of the building, note the fur lined rugs in the car on the right. The words 'full house' have been chalked onto doors on the left. Note the crowd of civilian onlookers.
