Description
Three unidentified Australian soldiers displaying a sheepskin while in an abandoned shell damaged village. The live stock from the abandoned farms in the battle area provided a welcome change of food for the hard fought troops. Note in the background a sheep carcase hanging from the wall (left), a sign on the wall for the 'Raoul de Juine' cafe (right) and another soldier (far right).
