A view of the valley of Ancre and the villages which featured in the Australian operations ...
Description
A view of the valley of Ancre and the villages which featured in the Australian operations against German forces in March and early April 1918, during the German push towards Amiens. A railway line, probably the Albert-Amiens railway, runs across the countryside and several damaged buildings are visible beside the line. This is the centre image in a three part panorama. See E04706P for the combined image.
