Description
A view of the valley of Ancre and the villages which featured in the Australian operations against German forces in March and early April 1918, during the German push towards Amiens. A road runs across the countryside (centre) and a railway line, probably the Albert-Amiens railway, can be seen on the far left. This is the right hand image in a three part panorama.
