Description

A well camouflaged battery of the 1st Australian Field Artillery Brigade. Several days earlier German troops had launched a determined but fruitless attempt to break down resistance in this area. On the right are rows of ammunition, visible underneath the camouflage netting, and on the far left is an unidentified Australian soldier.
