Description
The ruins of a German gun, showing the well-camouflaged trench running from the gun to the crest of the hill over which it fired in the direction of Amiens. This gun was captured by Australian troops on 23 August 1918, during an advance in this vicinity. Note three unidentified soldiers in the background (centre).
