Description
A German built ferro-concrete dugout surrounded by debris. A series of these dugouts, built to form a strong defence line in the area, were all captured by Australian troops on 1-2 September 1918. This dugout contained stabling for a horse. Note the railway track in the foreground and the wooden rail on the right hand side which leds to deep dugout.
