Description

Parade of Australian artillery in France and a demonstration of the guns firing. General Talbot Hobbs takes the salute. An interesting feature is that one battery has all grey horses, probably French or American Percherons. The Australian army favoured Clydesdale crosses and did not buy grey horses in Australia. The 26th Battery Australian Field Artillery had greys and is probably the unit shown in this film.
